Last panel on page 100 of my new book. I STILL GOT IT!!!
Last panel on page 100 of my new book. I STILL GOT IT!!!
The Santos family, from the new graphic novel I’m working on.
Missy, one of the characters from my new book. I’m never sure if it should be “sweetie” or “sweety.”
Arthur, one of the exciting characters from my new book. What treasures will he find while roaming the beach? ONLY I KNOW.
I was scanning the latest chapter of my new book and realized I had mis-numbered the pages (I had two page 64s). This is very exciting because it means I have one more page than I thought I did! This is about the best news a cartoonist can receive, so to celebrate I’m posting one of the page 64s here.
Michelle Sacco, guys. MICHELLE SACCO is one of the characters in my new book!
P.S.—This joke will be funny if you read the book.
Jim, a character from my new book. He doesn’t look happy.
Roberta, one of the characters in my new book.
Yesterday I drew a panel and I wasn’t very happy with it. It’s mostly the backgrounds or lack thereof. It was the end of the day. I was hungry. So I completed this lazy panel and told myself that when I’m done with the book I’ll go back and redo that panel.
I’ve made this deal with myself before, so I’m betting that when the book is done I’ll go back and not be able to tell which panel it was I was so unhappy with. This is the standard of excellence and quest for perfection that has made me the cartooning superstar I am today.
Anna, one of the characters from my new book. What’s the behind her? A fence? A net?
It’s true that Russ is a character in my new book but that’s all you’ll get out of me about him.
This is Braiden, one of the youngest characters in my youngest book.
Karen—who seems to be nervously realizing she’s a character in my new book
Yes, there are some male characters in my new book as well. This is Billy.
