boblipski asked: Stephen is one of my favorite characters from BOP. I always wondered if he really did make a pass at Dorothy when they were roommates, or if she was making that up.

A lot of people have asked me about that over the years. I think the answer is in the book but who can really say for sure?

White Stripes week concludes! 
I meant to mention it yesterday but one of the challenges to doing parody-type commissions is trying to find the right balance between my own characters and the originals. For instance, since Sherman (briefly) has long hair in Box Office Poison giving him Jack White’s hairdo was pretty simple. But when I gave Dorothy Meg White’s long hair it just looked wrong—it changed some essential bit of “Dorothiness” about her, so I went with her regular haircut.
