I’ve noticed a lot of people on the social media complaining about 2011 and otherwise wishing it good riddance. The thing is, this time last year people were saying the same thing about 2010, and the year before that 2009, etc. This could mean that we’ve had a lot of sucky years in a row or that people are just more likely to complain than talk about what a great year it was.
